Constantius II, as Caesar, 324-337. Solidus (Gold, 20 mm, 4.41 g, 11 h), Nicomedia, 324-325. FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius to right. Rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS / SMN Constantius, as prince of the youth, standing front in military attire, head to right, holding vexillum in his right hand and long scepter in his left; behind him, another signum. Depeyrot 34/3. RIC 76. A beautiful piece of very attractive Constantinian style. A few very minor scratches and with a thin die break on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
